Easter eggs

With Easter just around the corner many people will be rushing out at the last minute to buy those often overpriced foil covered chocolate bunnies and eggs.

Here are some tips for this Easter to help you become more sustainable and protect your hip pocket:

  • Recycle packaging from any eggs you are given
  • Try to buy Fair Trade Eggs
  • Buy 1 or 2 Easter Eggs
  • Instead of an egg hunt organize a ribbon hunt, those with the most ribbons at the end receive 1 big egg.
  • Make Easter about what activities you can do, rather than how many chocolates you can get. For example, make Easter bonnets out of recycled paper or boil eggs and paint them. The list is endless.
