??? It’s VERY important to ensure the microchip details of your pet dog, cat and bird are up2date (and registered!) ???

If you have no microchip, I would strongly advise that you put this at the top of your TO DO list. (Besides, it is law within Queensland that all pets must be microchipped even “Free To Good Home”.)

??? Register or Update Your Microchip Details ???

Any vet can scan your pet (for free!) to get the chip number and company, or if you have the chip number you can check which company it is recorded with using http://www.petaddress.com.au/

— National Pet Register ( www.petregister.com.au ) PH 1300 734 738

— Australasian Animal Registry ( www.aar.org.au ) PH 02-9704 1450

— Central Animal Registry ( www.car.com.au ) PH 03-9706 3187

— Petsafe (www.petsafe.com.au)

— Homesafeid (http://www.homesafeid.com/)

If you have moved to the Gold Coast from N.S.W. your dog may be on this data base: www.petregistry.nsw.gov.au <— As this register is limited to NSW, it is recommended that you contact one of the national microchip record companies to have your pet’s details recorded
