Le Petite Pantry - Palm Beach Gold Coast

I visited Le Petite Pantry in Palm Beach today (Wednesday 20th March) with Eedee in tow to help me review it ūüôā

At first I couldn’t find it !!! ¬†I had the right address input into my GPS however it took me a second to realise it is down a side street. ¬†(Note to Le Petite – they may want to put a sign on the corner of the main street that they’re situated off pointing them out?). ¬†(edit to add – Le Petite Pantry saw my note yay!!)¬† ¬†Once I had realised where it was, time to find a park. ¬†On the plus side as they’re situated in a quiet area of Palm Beach, there is PLENTY of parking available. No meters ! ¬†Unlimited time !

As it good proper protocol before you take your pets out with you to any doggy dining establishment, try to take them for a decent walk prior. ¬†As Eedee and myself had travelled from Central Gold Coast to here – this was a must for her. ¬†Great quiet, safe area to do a “walk around the block” to allow Eedee to get acclimatised (in other words allow her to sniff, pee and do a poop).

As per the pictures in this blog post, I tied Eedee up to one of the many trees out the front of the cafe as there was already a big bucket of water available.  That bucket was provided by the cafe Рno need to BYO if you do not require it.

Went inside to grab a drink, check out the menu and what is on offer. ¬†They do have a full menu ! ¬†They also have a nice variety of cold drinks available not just the usual coffee, tea, etc. ¬†I grabbed a nice healthy smoothie juice type of drink from their fridge. ¬†If you’re expecting the usual “cafe cold fridge” labels – don’t. Not here. ¬†Well, a few that are well recognised however overall the cold drink selection was of quality. ¬† No coke, or pepsi or similar in this fridge.

As a proper reviewer, I also wanted to have something to snack upon (as I was also killing two birds with one stone by having a meeting with someone). ¬†Plenty to choose from within their display case !! ¬†In the end, I couldn’t help myself… I treated myself to the chocolate cake this pictured within this blog post. ¬† I had a choice of cream or yogurt for a side ! ¬†This is definitely a first for me – I have never been offered to have yogurt as the side instead of cream. ¬†Thus I chose the yogurt. ¬† As you can also see pictured, the slice isn’t a small slice !! ūüôā ¬†That suited me VERY well (as I have a sweet tooth and LOVE a good chocolate cake).

Not the most spectacular of views when you are sitting out there however as it is situated off the main drag down the side street – it is safe/quiet. ¬†Hence if you’re looking for somewhere that is quiet, not located in a busy area and are not fussed that the only view is of the houses across the road then you’ll enjoy it here.

As pictured within this blog post (time permitting) the staff will GLADLY offer your dog to a treat and pats themselves. ¬† They also allowed me to bring Eedee to sit at my table. ¬† Yes, Eeedee. ¬†She’s NOT a small dog!

Of course, they prefixed (points to them!) that there were some ground rules: ¬†not allowed on the table, were not allowed to eat off the table and we were to have control of her at all times. ¬†Easy enough for me as it is Eedee ūüėČ ¬†She’s well trained to know this…

My bad I didn’t take a photo of how relaxed she was sitting “at my feet” with the water bucket before I left. ¬†She kinda didn’t want to leave.

WET WEATHER OK: ¬†it decided to pour down with rain randomly out of no where whilst I was there. We moved the “next row over” near the wall yet still outside whilst I was there to stay well and dry. ¬†Not a drop touched us thus it is okay to come here during the wet weather. ¬†Unfortunately, as it was over-cast today I was unable to give you a heads up on the heat/hot/sun situation (whether there is enough shade thus ensuring there are plenty of cool paths/spots for the dogs).

Extra note:  There is a section they have allocated to young kids to draw, play etc.

Thumbs up from Eedee and myself ūüôā
